ABOUT YAMS TREASURE

Wokwonder Pte Ltd (WokWonder) is a newly set up F&B Company that strives to provide the unique wine and dine gastronomic culinary experience to our patrons, helmed by award- winning Executive Chef Kelvin Yam with over 30 years of F&B experience in Singapore, and supported by a group of successful entrepreneurs and working professionals. Wokwonder will be managing Yam’s Treasure 嚴家 @376 East Coast Road.

Executive Chef Kelvin

Head Chef Kelvin Yam brings along his experience of over 30 years to Yam’s Treasure. Born and raised in Ipoh, Malaysia, he moved to Singapore and worked his way up to be recognised as one of the leaders in Singapore F&B industries. Throughout his career, Chef Kelvin have mastered and perfected all the 7 cooking methods for Chinese cuisine, Steam, Blanch, Sear, Braise, Poach, Roast & Grill.


The F&B Restaurant & Companies that Chef Kelvin have started or worked in the last 30 years includes:
- Different Taste
- Yam Kitchen @DownTown East
- House of Yam @Kovan Heartland Mall
- Yam’s Signature @New Tech Park
- Yam’s Signature @Food Republic at Breadtalk iHQ
- Shilepo (食乐坡) – Salted Egg Fish Skins (since 2008)
- HaveFun Family Karaoke

Chef Kelvin also created and pioneer specialty dishes for various fish tail dishes as well as the “Yuan Yang” Hor Fun since 1998.
 

As part of his contribution back to the F&B industries in Singapore, Chef Kelvin served pro bono as a Vice Chairman and Consultant respectively at Huo Yow Cook’s Association 新加坡好友厨师公会 and The Chef Club of Singapore 新加坡厨师俱乐部
